SSQQ Swing student was surprised to hear me mention that my
former wife Judy Archer was
personally responsible for bringing the Lindy Hop to Houston. She asked to hear the story.
As I was writing, it became harder and harder to decide where to start. Eventually the
project expanded to become a treatise on the history of Swing in America.
